Brevard prepares for bird flu

County plan will be ready in September

No cases of deadly avian flu have been reported in the United States, yet Brevard County health officials are working on an emergency plan for an outbreak.

"We do not want people to panic," said Jason Ferrell, director of health and safety at the Space Coast chapter of the American Red Cross. "But we want them to be prepared."

While avian flu has not appeared in this country, it could arrive this year, officials said. The threat of avian flu increases around November, when migratory birds -- which are known to carry the infection -- arrive in the state.

"It is not a question of if, but when," Ferrell said.

Bob Lay, director of Brevard's Emergency Operations Center, said a countywide plan to deal with an outbreak will be ready by September.

"We are working on a risk matrix with other agencies," Lay said.

The director said the emergency preparedness plan includes a public education phase during which law enforcement agencies, medical examiners, nonprofits, school boards and faith-based organizations will be given more information about the emergency plan and their responsibilities.

The H5N1 virus is responsible for avian flu and has spread across eastern Asia during the past few years, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. If a large-scale outbreak occurs, scenarios to combat the illness could include quarantining a section of the population.

An outbreak could affect hospital and emergency staffs, something officials have to consider in their response plan.

"We might be looking at a situation where 30 or 40 percent of health staff and public officials may not be available," Lay said. "But we will have to continue providing services."

Thomas O'Bryant, public health preparation coordinator for Brevard County, said every facet of the county's administration -- from law enforcement to hospitals -- needs to be ready for an outbreak.

"Residents should have a supply of nonperishable food," O'Bryant said. "They should be prepared to be quarantined if necessary."

As with the threat of other diseases, good hygiene is essential to keep the disease at bay.

But current emphasis is on education.

David Flakus, who attended a workshop about the flu, said the information was an eye-opener for him.

"I got a good perspective on how the county was preparing," said Flakus, who works in a health care facility for the elderly.

"Preparedness will save lives," Ferrell said.

Kenneth C. Tennant, 45, 3447 Magnolia Court, remained in the Polk County, Iowa, jail late Friday afternoon, charged with third-degree harassment. Although it is a state charge — and a misdemeanor — Federal Protective Service, or FPS,  personnel were involved because the VA office is a federal facility, said special agent Wil Calvey. The FPS provides law enforcement and security services to more than 1 million tenants and daily visitors to all federally owned and leased facilities nationwide, according to its mission statement. FPS focuses directly on the interior security of the nation and the reduction of crimes and potential threats to federal facilities. Calvey said two inspectors from Des Moines had been investigating Tennant after receiving complaints from the VA office. “He had been harassing them for the past three years,” said Calvey. “We were looking at the messages and while there were no direct threats, the language was abusive and derogatory and seemed to be getting worse.” Proactive measures The specific nature of the calls, or a dispute between Tennant and the VA, was not divulged by FPS officials or the VA. Calvey said the elevated threat of terrorism, coupled with a better understanding of workplace violence, have led the service to take a more proactive approach to dealing with harassment. “We are trying to nip these things in the bud rather than let them escalate into a greater problem,” he said. “When you let things go, and people are not punished, they get worse and you have an increased chance of an incident where someone is injured or killed.” Tennant will be prosecuted by the Polk County Attorney’s office, not in federal court, Calvey added. His bond was set at $325. Tennant works at American Family Chiropractic, 1530 State St., where he shares an office with three other chiropractors. One of the doctors, who did not wish to give her name, said she was surprised by the charges and was not aware Tennant had a dispute with the VA. According to federal court records, Tennant filed a lawsuit in 1998 disputing a denial of disability insurance benefits and Supplemental Security Income. When you hear anyone (especially those neocons) say; Muslims, Arabs, the French Fries, Vietnamese "people" etc - hate us because of our freedoms, you know it is a freakin lie. The ones (elitists) that HATE us are the ones who want to enslave us, control us, use us.

 

Peoples of a nation don't hate us, some may envy us if they "think" we are better off, but that does not equate to hate. Most Europeans laugh at us as they know we are fools for thinking we are free. If you volunteer to serve in the armed services, that is how they know who has the guts to defend America (the rest who do not volunteer are already under control) and they don't like that you see, they now know "who" to hate and who to make sick, who to use to go kill other innocents around the world so you become their tool to enslave others, and when the haters are finished using you, they show their hate and contempt and fear of you by making sure you are medicated by the VA and never receive enough compensation to buy more than you need to merely exist/to just get by. The others kill the king's enemies, and come back home one day severely mentally traumatized and are drugged for the rest of their lives and too ashamed to admit they killed innocents for no good reason, keep quiet and never bite the hand that feeds them their "pension" (service connected rating-disability).  Whoever else makes it back home without an arm or a leg, or needs a plate in their head or the like, are now dependent on the king and his VA.   This way the king eliminates free thinkers and doers, those who originally would have been a threat to the king because those are the men and women who would not allow their countrymen to be subdued by any enemy, foreign or domestic!

 

The others who do not "sign up" to go to war are the weak-meek (passive) of mind and spirit and would never challenge the king and the king knows this - he merely needs to feed the sheeple at home what they need to hear via the king's media, to keep them pacified and supporting the king. This passive (nutritionally empty tap-drinking Fluoridated water) sheeple support the king's bidding and will force their children into service to the king, to go kill the king's enemies because the king's media tells the sheeple that those foreigners over there - hate us.

• Get at the young from birth to destroy their immune system and brain functions by mandatory or scare tactic Vaccine (slow poison/death) programs - make sick, con-trol for life, and kill off people

• Mandatory active-duty military vaccine programs (under the guise of prevention in case the enemy does...)

• Doctors with a State License (to kill with "protection" from the State) who dish out prescription drugs that harm us

• Poisoning the air with factory-vehicle emissions/pollution for profit and deliberate chemtrails

• Poisoning the plants-vegetables-fruits with insecticides which we ingest

• Turning animals in cancerous meat we eat, so they can produce more puss tainted eggs, milk, mad-cow to feed us

YOU are going to prove something to yourself.  Perhaps you've been listening to radio shows, surfing the web and your eyeballs falling out of their sockets. You are overwhelmed and burned out. Maybe you are a 9/11 researcher, or just plane-Jane SusieQ home-maker with your 1.2 children and Volvo in the driveway.

You are asking yourself - why should you be concerned about a war which took place 15-years ago, after all, what about 9/11-WTC, the Gulf War is old news and besides, there are so many websites about Iraq, Gulf War Syndrome issues, what's the big deal here?   Glad you are asking.

Rather than you having to believe what you read, how about "knowing", so start here by proving to yourself that there is a MASSIVE WORLD CONSPIRACY to conceal evidence and truths you should know about.

There are hundreds of books written about the Persian Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm, Gulf War Syndrome, Gulf Illness, to include movies-videos, radio shows into the thousands of thousands, speakers at preparedness expos and the like, and not a single one of these "worldwide" refers to the name; Peter  Kawaja (Habib Peter Kawaja), and every one of these books and "experts" or radio show hosts claim to have done research.

So if you find out that EVERY one of these (worldwide) is a deception and disinformation, every radio show host, every speaker or person holding themselves out to be "knowledgeable" on the subject or have done research - would you not be in shock and awe? What would it take to steer every writer who has authored a book, every speaker, every talk-show host, every journalist WORLDWIDE?    The information would have to be so damaging, it would have to parallel the statement made to Peter Kawaja in 1991 by the Financial Times (London) and ABC-Nightline producers; "we do not wish to topple the entire UNITED STATES government".

For years you've been listening to broadcasts like Art Bell, now Coast to Coast, Jeff Rense, Alex Jones,  The Power Hour and a slew of others to include all the paytriot stations like WWCR, Genesis Radio, American Voice Radio, - ALL, much more to list, and each one of these "stations or talk-show hosts" HAVE IN FACT covered GWS and told  you they were bringing you the truth by exposing a government cover up and presented to you, either or both; Joyce Riley or Garth Nicolson, as well as a series of other misleader minions.

Yet none of these stations or hosts, with the exception of Jackie Patru (Sweet Liberty) have told you about Peter Kawaja.  There have been several who have tried, like Abbie Bakaric and numerous others (all threatened that their children would be raped/sodomized or worse - or their shows cancelled), and most recently in 2004, someone who worked inside the Power Hour for about a year, Linda Kennedy - and these radio stations claim to be patriotic and American or Christian (but really not).

WHY would every radio host DELIBERATELY misrepresent the truth, hide it from you and present to you an alternative storyline? It isn't that they did not know about the subject matter or that they never heard about Peter Kawaja, it is that they all (like all the book authors) made a conscious decision to mislead you and commit TREASON against America. 

This is the tip of the iceberg.  I have not yet laid my charges ( BUT WILL BE DOING SO IN UPCOMING INTERNET WAR CRIMES TRIALS ON ATG radio), but surely at this point you have to ask yourself if this is true or not,  and you must want the answer or you are brain dead.

HOW can you prove it to yourself?

Here's how: Take the position as-if you are going to write a book. You have decided you want to write a book about Desert Storm and Saddam's WMD.  You know nothing, you have no background, you are not a veteran, you are a college student doing this research.

Start at this point; January 1990, before Desert Storm and work your way through searches through to 1991, then of course you can do a further check from 1991 through today.

You will be amazed that you will not find any Gulf War information from, or the names of, Nicolson or Riley mentioned in ANY newspaper, radio, or TV - until 1995 right after the Murrah Building bombing.

BUT - you will find mainstream media information on Peter Kawaja and the PIT plant in Boca Raton, Florida. Here is your first reality check eye opener.  Although much of the news articles are no longer available, there are enough left which can be found and all document that the key-main person appearing in newspapers (see below) such as Miami Herald, Palm Beach Post, Dallas Morning News (and a slew of others) as well as on ABC-Nightline with Ted Koppel, and the Financial Times of London is; yes - PETER KAWAJA.

Now you are asking yourself, self - if before and during the Gulf War, mainstream press and TV covered WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, and specifically, IRAQ and the arming of Iraq and Saddam's WMD, and in untold numbers of these media stories was the name of Peter Kawaja,  how is it that if he was talked about in so many news articles, that he "disappeared"  or was MADE TO DISAPPEAR from history when every "researcher" who wrote books about Desert Storm or Saddam from 1991 to present, NEVER MENTIONED Peter Kawaja.

Yet these same authors, radio show hosts, et al,  all told you they did research, they investigated the information and you should buy their book or their video, or listen to their shows and buy their products to support their radio shows and to help veterans. (puke).

Once again, it is not that all these researchers did not find my name, it is that they deliberately misled you all these years!  EVERY ONE OF THEM, and they still continue to mislead you today, so they have their books published-sold, or so they can be touted as "knowledgeable"  by and be on of the cult who are protecting the perpetrators-enemies of America.

Below is just ONE search I performed on January 26, 2005.   But since these newspapers or the search company charges for each document, to retrieve them in full, how about you helping yourself and America (and the world) by donating some money to my AGWVA group and I will buy the articles and publish them on this website. My search string was; Peter Kawaja and GWS. You can use similar; Peter Kawaja and Desert Storm (or WMD,  or PIT, etc).

[ also do yourself a favor - as I stated, try and find ONE article in the entire world on Garth Nicolson or Joyce Riley - as relates to GWS, prior to 1994/1995. You cannot - they do not exist, never did. ]
